We don't see too many Audi Q5 Sportbacks in the shop, but when we do we'll work out a solution. Thule makes a kit for these naked roof vehicles, but doesn't make it available here in the United States. Every once in a while we'll run into a situation like this where we need to import a kit on our own and utilize a retailer across the pond. For this one we just needed Thule Kit 145306 to complete the setup. 165 lbs of weight capacity and 29 3/8" of bar spread is good enough for most applications out there. If you want to keep your vehicle looking great, we suggest taking your rack off twice a year and washing everything thoroughly before putting it back on. Here in Bend we get a good amount of dust which will work it's way under the pads and create a cloudy section of paint over time.

June 27, 2022We installed a 2" receiver hitch onto a 2022 Audi Q7. The hitch was manufactured from Stealth Hitches. Hitch towing capacity is 8,000 lbs and has a 800 lbs tongue weight. This hitch's tongue can be temporarily removed when not in use.
