We installed crossbars and kayak racks onto a 2020 Mercedes Revel Van. The crossbars were manufactured by Yakima and are known as the Timberline Kit. A challenge we faced when installing these crossbars was having to make mounting adjustments to the Timberline Towers in order to make them fit with the vehicles awning. In order to make them fit we mounted the towers backwards on one side. Attached to the crossbars are two sets of kayak racks. The first set is also manufactured by Yakima and is known as the Jaylow. The second set is manufactured by Thule and those are known as the Hull-a-port XT.
We installed a rear door access ladder onto 2020 Mercedes Sprinter. The ladder was manufactured by Prime Design and is a non-permanent ladder that mounts by clamping around the top and bottom edges of the door.
We installed crossbars 2015 Mercedes G-class. The crossbar setup was manufactured by Rhino Rack and has weight capacity rating of 165lbs. These crossbars are equipped with a channel within the bars to allow mounting for certain accessories. They are attached to the vehicle using Rhino Rack RL Legs that grip onto the roof gutter.
We install a roof platform rack onto a 2017 Mercedes Sprinter. This roof platform rack was manufactured by Aluminess. In addition to mounting the roof platform we added: awning, solar panels, and roof top tent. The installation was tedious and should be done by professionals.
We installed crossbars onto a 2014 Mercedes C300. The crossbar setup that works best for this vehicle is manufactured by Thule. These crossbars are attached with Thule Rapid Podium feet, and the crossbars feature channel mount capability for mounting certain accessories. This setup has a weight capacity rating of 165lbs.
We installed a Curt 2" receiver hitch onto a 2007 Mercedes ML 500. The hitch #13018 is a class 3 receiver hitch to 3,500 lbs. gross trailer weight and 350 lbs. tongue weight. This install required a bumper removal and used preexisting weld nuts.
A few weeks back we installed a Thule Hideaway Awning onto a 2017 Mercedes Sprinter. The Thule Hideaway Awning is just over 10 1/2 feet long and extends out 8ft with an easy to use crank operated system for opening and closing. To install the awning we added Thule's awning adapters into the vehicles existing factory track.
This week we installed Front and Rear bumpers from Aluminess onto a 2019 Mercedes Sprinter. These bumpers are fairly lightweight so there is no need to upgrade vehicle suspension to handle the weight capacity. The front bumper is equipped with cable winch compatibility. The rear bumper has two swing out box storage systems to allow rear access to vehicles rear doors. The box on the left is specifically made for holding extra gas cans which you can secure with a separate padlock. The box on the right gives you a bit more secure storage space with the integrated locking system built in, and above provides crossbars that allows a bike rack to be clamped on.
