Today we installed a hitch on a 2019 Kia Niro Electric. The hitch we found that would work best for this vehicle was manufactured by Curt, hitch #13329. This hitch's capacity is rated for 3,500 lbs gross trailer weight and 525 lbs tongue weight, however with a vehicle this size we recommend only a bike rack or racks of that nature should be used in this hitch receiver. We had to make a modification to hitch itself which included enlarging the original bolt holes as they did not line up correctly on the electric model.
