2021 GMC Canyon - Platform & Bike Racks - Rhino Rack / Thule

We installed a platform and bike racks onto a 2021 GMC Canyon. This is a Pioneer Platform made by Rhino Rack and is attached to the vehicle with what is known as a Backbone. To attach the Backbone to the vehicle we secured it to the roof by drilling into the vehicle to create mounting locations using rivnuts. The Roam Adventure Co. boxes are attached to the platform by having a few holes drilled through them with bolts to attach to plates underneath the boxes that slide into the Pioneer platforms existing slat channels. In the bed of the truck the customer already had a Retrax XR pro and crossbars so all we had to do was mount some bike racks. The bike racks are Thule's TopRide which require you to take off the front wheel of each to bike to be mounted.
