We installed a platform rack onto a 2021 Toyota 4Runner TRD. This is a Pioneer Platform made by Rhino Rack and is attached to the vehicle with what is known as a Backbone. To attach the Backbone to the vehicle we secured it to the existing fixed points and weather stripping. The Pioneer Platform has planks with track mount channels for future accessories. The load rating capacity is 220 lbs.
