We installed crossbars and a backbone platform onto a 2018 Chevrolet Colorado. All products involved are manufactured by Rhino Rack. The crossbars were installed over the cab of the vehicle using Quick Mount Ditch Bracket part #QMFK08, Quick Mount Leg part #RLT600, and Vortex Bars part #VA126B. Attached to the crossbars is the XTray Large basket that has a load capacity rating of 165lbs. Installation of the Backbone Pioneer Platform system was made up of two parts; the Backbone Rails #RUMB1, and the Pioneer Platform part #52102F. Both of these installations required us to drill into either into the vehicle or the canopy and should be done by trained specialists.
We installed crossbars and kayak racks onto a 2017 Honda CRV. The crossbars and kayak racks were manufactured Thule. The crossbars are made up of Kit 3166, Rapid Podium foot pack and Wingbar Evo 135B. On this setup, the kayak rack known as the Thule Hullavator is mounted into the channel of the crossbars. The Hullavator is equipped with a gas strut to help ease the process of loading and unloading the kayak as it comes down to the side of the vehicle. The load capacity of the Hullavator is 75lbs per boat.
We installed a truck bed cover and crossbars onto a 2022 Toyota Tundra. The truck bed cover was manufactured by Retrax part number #T-80861, this is a retractable cover that has channels that run the length of the side rails to allow crossbars to be mounted. The crossbars were manufactured by Yakima using the Landing Pad 1, Skyline foot pack, and Jetstream crossbars.
We installed crossbars onto a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The crossbars were manufactured by Yakima and attached to the vehicles existing flush rails using Landing Pad 18, Skyline foot pack, and Corebar crossbars. This setup has a weight capacity rating of 165 lbs. The installation required some pre-assembly of parts and screwed into fixed points in the flush rails.
We installed crossbars, a hitch, and bike rack onto a 2022 Audi Q3. They crossbars were manufactured by Thule and attached the vehicles existing flush using Fit Kit 186091, Flush Rail foot set, and Wingbar Evo 127B. This crossbar setup has a weight capacity rating up to 165lbs. Attached to the rear of the vehicle is the 2" receiver Stealth Hitch, this hitch's tongue can be temporarily removed when not in use. Sliding into the hitch is the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 bike rack, this bike rack can accommodate up to 2 bikes as long as they are not Electric or Fat-Tire style bikes.
We installed crossbars and backbone system onto a 2022 Jeep Wrangler. The setup was manufactured by Rhino Racks and is supported by their Backbone system. This installation required us to drill into the hardtop of the vehicle and install metal supports on the inside that line up with the roof fixtures to go where the bases are positioned. Attached to the bases are RLT600 feet and VA150B crossbars.
We installed crossbars and a cargo box onto a 2021 Ford Explorer. The crossbars and cargo box were manufactured by Yakima. The crossbars are known as the Timberline system and are made up of the Timberline towers and Corebar crossbars, this system attaches by wrapping around the vehicles existing elevated siderails. Attached to the crossbars is the Skybox 16 cargo box which provides 16 cubic feet of storage, integrated tie-downs, locks, and the ability to open from both sides.
We installed crossbars onto a 2022 Toyota Tacoma. The crossbars were manufactured by Yakima and attach to the vehicle by clamping around the door frame and weather stripping. The crossbars are made up of a set of Yakima Baseline towers, Yakima Corebars, Baseclip 145 (front bar), Baseclip 128 (rear bar). This crossbar setup has a weight load capacity rating up to 165lbs.
We installed crossbars and an awning onto a 2000 Volkswagen Eurovan. The crossbars were manufactured by Rhino Rack and the awning by Thule. To install the crossbars we had to drill into the vehicles existing roof ditches and install rivet nuts to allow for the feet to attach. The feet we used were Rhino Rack's RLT600 and paired them with the VA150B crossbars. These crossbars have a channel that runs the length of the bars to allow for mounting of accessories such as an awning. The Thule Outland awning is 7.5ft long and extends out 8ft. with push-button operation it allows for easy, one person setup.
We installed track and crossbars onto a 2010 Ford Ranger. The roof rack system we found that works best for fiberglass canopies is made by Rhino Rack. This installation required us drill through the canopy and install the track using bolts, nuts and silicone sealant. Once attached, the feet that we used are Rhino Racks RLT 600's paired with VA 165B crossbars which have channel mount capability for mounting of accessories. The weight capacity for this setup on the canopy is rated for 165lbs.
