Retail Store Lead

Cascade Rack is here to guide our customers through the process of turning their vehicles into easy to use adventure machines. Whether it be daily trips to the trails or a year of adventuring, we want to treat each customer like family. This role will primarily focus on handling walk in sales at our retail store as well as maintaining the sales floor presentation.

Qualifications

Some knowledge or recreational interest in our industry
Skill to operate computer and POS systems
Ability to interact effectively with co-workers and customers
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and/or 5+ years of retail experience
Management and or supervisory experience
Ability to demonstrate ethical and honest behavior in day to day interactions and business decisions
Must be able to maintain high standards of facility and sales floor on a daily basis

Responsibilities:

Shared management of store personnel
Work with customers to understand needs/wants and provide product suggestions
Oversee sales and customer service using established retail customer service standards
Facilitate store location inventory productivity and seasonality
Direct and manage in store merchandising
Ability to utilize computer systems to communicate clearly with internal staff and customers
Ability to work shifts Mon-Fri, and some Saturdays when needed
May lift and/or move up to 60 lbs
Occasional overnight travel to trade shows, etc.
Connect with customers and drive sales by asking open-ended questions to assess customer needs and make relevant suggestions for the customer's objectives
Ability to provide coaching and direction to team

Now Hiring Summer 2023 Seasonal Staff

We typically retain a number of seasonal employees between the months of May and October. If you're currently in school, we are pretty flexible regarding the start and end dates. Our goal is to have all of our employees work 40 hour work weeks, so once you are available that is the expectation.

We provide our customers with an array of choices, so there’s no typical day. This role will primarily focus on work at our installation center. In order to ensure you have a full view of the operation, you’ll also get experience in sales. All staff rotates from the warehouse to the retail store to some degree.

Many days at our installation center are spent troubleshooting how to fit all the pieces together for our customers. To have success, each employee needs to be willing and able to lean on one another for ideas and sometimes just another wrench to get things done. Most of our work is done with at least one other sent of hands, so the ability to work in teams is paramount.

Assist in installation of aftermarket auto accessories
Work with customers to understand needs/wants and provide product suggestions
Warehouse operations; receive, pick, pack
Ability to utilize computer systems to communicate clearly with internal staff and customers

Automotive Accessory Installation Technician

Whether it be daily trips to the trails or a year of adventuring, we want to treat each customer like family. Our job is to ensure that each customer walks away with the confidence to get out and explore and becomes a customer for life.

We provide our customers with an array of choices, so there’s no typical day. This role will primarily focus on work at our installation center. In order to ensure you have a full view of the operation, you’ll also get experience in retail sales at least one day a week. All staff rotates from the warehouse to the retail store to some degree.

Execute installation of aftermarket auto accessories
Work with customers to understand needs/wants and provide product suggestions
Experience/training in 12v accessories a plus
Ability to utilize computer systems to communicate clearly with internal staff and customers
